Why is Honing Inconel difficult?
Inconel is a type of nickel-chromium alloy that is known for its high strength and resistance to heat and corrosion. Due to its hard and brittle nature, honing (a process of fine grinding and polishing a surface) can be difficult and may cause the tooling to wear out quickly. Additionally, Inconel's high nickel content can make it difficult to achieve a smooth surface finish.
